PiG Cheer Perfect

I sold my swanky wheels.

This is the Moose-stang on the morning they were sold. One last picture of him standing proudly.

And a pic of him with the old wheels back on.

Reason for selling: I am preparing now for the overseas trip that I said I'd take once I am ready. And those old wheels with 24 spokes really didn't have the strenght to take on loaded touring. Oh yea, I also needed the money.

Meanwhile, my front derailleur cable broke. So I brought it into the Shop for fixing.

On the way I saw this:

I think God was trying to tell me something.

Anyway I think the old wheels ride kinda better. Less harsh.

And you know those leaves my Dad planted? A little flower bloomed.

Freakin' surreal.

Here it is in all it's glory. I haven't named this one yet.

I think I'm a pretty good photographer. See how I controlled the light? That was shot on a VGA handphone camera.

I'm lusting for this next to take The Filmlab to the next level:

The Leica Digilux 3.

In other news, Simone the Spider has disappeared.

I know not where. I pine for her so much, I wrote this poem in memoriam;

The itsy bitsy spider

Crawled up the water spout

Down came the rain

And washed the spider out

Out came the sun

And dried up all the rain

And the itsy bitsy spider

Crawled up the spout again.

I even composed a melody to go with it, and all.

Except that, you know, Simone was GINORMOUS.

Sort of like the lense of the camera above.

So I'll have to rewrite it or something.
